Here's a photo essay I did of Pearl Harbor survivor Bill Furrer. Bill served in the Navy beginning in 1940, and was in the Harbor at the time of the Japanese attack on Dec. 7, 1941. The nearest bomb fell about 100 yards from the ship he was on. Furrer and his wife (who was his girlfriend at the time of the attack) Elaine, have been married for 68 years.
Here are some photos from the Centralia-RA Long boys basketball game on Wednesday (Nov. 28) night. Maxx Waring (#24 for Centralia) hit 10 three-pointers to set a school record in the 104-51 victory.
